Tom and Sandy Mercier both took lessons at Hunter Oaks long before purchasing the farm in 1998. They met on a group trip to the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event in Lexington. Years later, they passed down their horse-loving genes to two young girls, Michelle and Allisson.

 

Michelle now owns her own farm in Reddick, FL, and coaches the University of Florida's Dressage & Eventing Teams. Allisson now manages Hunter Oaks while working towards a degree in Occupational Therapy. Both girls got their roots in Pony Club by participating in show jumping, eventing, dressage, and quiz rallies. They have successfully moved up the levels with the guidance of professionals from the United States, Canada, and the UK.
